Father grant me eyes to see and ears to hear and a heart to listen. May I have Your mind and speak Your words in every situation I encounter today.

Brent, those are true inspired words of encouragement.
Pray for me, that i may use discernment of God's words than my own.

Brent - I didn't want to reply on that rant of a page, but I just was unsure of your sarcasm..I didn't want to assume!! Anyways, its been interesting being in correspondence with this JC guy (ironic isn't it...)Anyways, thanks for your input. He initially responded to my husbands blog, on the beauty of creation, and it's been a journey since. I really have little to say, except for to defend my God, but it's great to test what i believe.

cheers

Mrs. P,

Thanks for stopping by. You got the sarcasm - even the JC part. I was really responding to him by using you as the format. You know, we do this with prayer all the time. "Dear Lord, please help Johnny eat his peas." I tend to match the tone of what I read. Don't we do this in verbal conversation? It's just that some have difficulty with this. And I certainly intend no disrespect. If I'm in his house I will dance on the tables if that's what he is doing. But don't get onto me for it and don't do that in my house because we don't dance on the tables here. It is not offensive to me if someone matches my tone. I don't have a problem with confronting issues. You can tell someone that they're fat and ungly and their breathe stinks if you say it in the right way. But it is immaturity to always relate a certain way, like always trying to be funny even in serious situations.

Just a thought, isn't Father "cool?" I pray that He would make me sensitive in response to others and he sends someone along to help me do this. Answered prayer! And to think Father used an athiest to do it. Doesn't He have a great sense of humor?

Peace,

b

Oh, one more thing. I do appreciate that joe shows some restraint. He wasn't vulgar. And he didn't post on some of the posts that would have really exposed his immaturity. I deleted a lot of his responses just because they were inappropriate for this blog and the other. I left the ones I thought he was serious on, save this one of course. I felt that this was appropriate and my silence was Spirit led. His post speaks for itself and exposes his heart. It also shows that he hasn't read very far down in the blog.

Anyway, my point is that Joe has some redeeming qualities and someone I probably could carry on a serious, mutually respectful conversation with.

And, about defending Father, just be light and Father will defend Himself. "The mills of God's justice grind slowly, but they grind exceedingly fine."
